Everyone,
The emails from Elder Schick were brief this week - only personal emails. Here is a few tidbits from the personal email I received to keep you up to date. I think he’s enjoying his day off with his companion, and our communication is dropping (as expected).
On Saturday, the bishop in his ward texted Greg a picture of him and his companion at their ward’s Christmas party - it was a pleasant surprise! I am attaching that little gem to this email.
On a side note, he mentions Gus (Elder Robinson) who is serving in the Philippines. There is a typhoon in his area. These boys have grown up together and we are praying for him and the people in that area. They have heard that the missionaries are evacuated, safe, and accounted for, but until that email comes in from your kido - I can’t even imagine...
Love you all,
Tammy
Hopefully everything stays fine with Gus, that is just crazy! We had a thunderstorm and it blew some trees over. Not a typhoon but people thought it was a tornado, lol. Week has been rainy, as always. It warmed up a bit but it’s heading back to the cold again.
As for Christmas i dont really know whats up, but i will have more info this week for sure! I got your packages, apparently you and Elder Terrell’s mom had similar ideas, because you used the same two toned wrapping paper bag things haha!
We did another mushroom hunt this morning, but it was unsuccessful sadly!
We picked up some new investigators throughout the week so thats cool!
Love,
Elder Schick
