So, well, yikes. This week was interesting for sure. It definitely had
its ups and downs. I'll start with the downs so I can get those out of
the way. So basically our week was empty. Investigators were out of
town, no one wanted to hear us tracting is was lame. It got tough
because you hear from other missionaries like "oh man so many people let
us in for Christmas we have so many new investigators!!!" We on the
other hand, got nothing but doors in our face, rude, "WE DONT WANT TO
HEAR YOUR MESSAGE WERE HAVING A CHRISTMAS PARTY" party hosts... Which
I find kind of ironic, I mean its Christmas after all, but you don't
want to hear about Christmas? HAHA OKAY. Anyways, so the work was slow
this week but it happens!
Plus side time! We actually (to our suprise)
nailed two new investigators! One is a young mother and the other a
kid from the skate park and they both seem pretty solid. We also got
to watch a movie, which was Big Hero 6. Solid movie. I'd rate it 8/8
mate. For Christmas morning, we opened presents at our ward mission
leaders home, brother Oilar and his family. They are an awesome
family, and I've come to really feel like they are family to me! For
the rest of Christmas Day we chilled with other missionaries and had a
neat little testimony meeting that night. Overall, a decent week! Rain
is still coming down, its starting to freeze a bit now, so that sucks.
But whatever, sleet happens!
Thanks everyone for the various cards, letters and packages you sent
me! I'm still getting some of them but I appreciate each and every one
of them! Hope y'all had a rad Christmas!
